2025 NBA playoff odds tracker: Who will emerge from conference semis?


The NBA postseason has entered the conference semifinals — the professional version of the Elite Eight.

Can the Celtics defend their title? Will the Cavs be able to make a run to the Finals? Is it Oklahoma City’s time to take over as top dog? Or, will we see a thrilling upset? Check out the odds for the NBA playoffs as of May 12. 

EASTERN CONFERENCE

Cavaliers (1) vs. Pacers (4)
Playoff series: IND leads 3-1

Series winner: Pacers -330, Cavaliers +265
Game 5 odds: CLE -7.5, ML: CLE -278, O/U: 229.5

What to know: Cleveland is in a world of hurt. It played without star shooting guard Donovan Mitchell (ankle) for the second half of Sunday’s Game 4, a blowout defeat. Indiana plastered the Cavs, and was up 80-39 at halftime. The top-seed in the East is now down 3-1, heading back home for Game 5.

Celtics (2) vs. Knicks (3)
Playoff series: NY leads 2-1

Series winner: Celtics -300, Knicks +245
Game 4 odds: BOS -6.5, ML: BOS -265, O/U: 208

What to know: The Celtics led by at least 20 points in both Games 1 and 2 of this series, and lost both games by a combined four points. In Game 3, however, the Celtics took control and never relinquished it. Jayson Tatum was back in All-Star form, tallying 22 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and two steals in Boston’s 115-93 win over New York.  

WESTERN CONFERENCE

Thunder (1) vs. Nuggets (4)
Playoff series: Series tied 2-2

Series winner: Thunder -525, Nuggets +400
Game 5 odds: OKC -10, ML: OKC -425, O/U: -425

What to know: During Sunday’s Game 4, Denver and OKC combined for 25 total points in the first quarter, tying the record for the fewest points in a first quarter in NBA playoff history. Both teams struggled from the field, with the Nuggets shooting 31.2% and the Thunder shooting 35.6%. Oklahoma City did sweep its first-round series and remains favored to win this series at -525, as well as the NBA Finals at +135. 

Wolves (6) vs. Warriors (7)
Playoff series: MIN leads 2-1

Series winner: Wolves -800, Warriors +550
Game 4 odds: MIN -5.5, ML: MIN -218, O/U: 199.5

What to know: The Warriors — despite losing Steph Curry in the second quarter due to a hamstring injury — managed to hold on and top Minnesota 99-88 in Game 1. Curry is set to be re-evaluated this week, and reports are that Game 6 is the earliest possible return for the franchise star.
