Ryan Lindgren contract
New York Rangers defenseman Ryan Lindgren has secured his future with the team, signing a one-year, $4.5 million contract. The agreement was reached just days before a scheduled arbitration hearing, ensuring the 26-year-old will remain in the Big Apple for at least one more season.
Rangers Lindgren contract
Lindgren, a restricted free agent, had expressed his strong desire to stay with the Rangers throughout the offseason. His impressive performance last year, where he tallied 17 points and 103 blocked shots in 76 games, undoubtedly played a role in the team’s decision to retain his services. The blueliner was also a key contributor to the Rangers’ deep playoff run, providing three assists in 16 postseason contests.
Lindgren Rangers re-signed
Drafted by the Boston Bruins in 2016, Lindgren has spent his entire NHL career with the Rangers. While the recent deal is short-term, both the player and the team have expressed optimism about the possibility of a longer-term agreement in the future.
