Darnold and wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, again, anchored the Seahawks offense while the defense shut down Jayden Daniels. The Commanders QB returned from a one-game absence caused by a hamstring injury, but left Sunday’s rout late in the fourth quarter after suffering a devastating left arm injury.
Sunday’s loss marked Washington’s fourth straight on a night where the concern over Daniels’ injury looms large. Meanwhile, the Seahawks’ dominant NFL Week 9 win now ties them with the Rams (6-2) for first place in the NFC West.
