The Ottawa Senators have added left winger Warren Foegele to their team’s roster ahead of Friday’s 3 p.m. ET trade deadline.

Foegele, 29, had nine points in 47 games with the Los Angeles Kings this season. He comes to the Senators alongside a conditional 2026 3rd-round draft pick in exchange for a 2026 2nd-round and conditional 3rd-round pick.

David Perron, a veteran winger who came to Ottawa last season, was traded to the Detroit Red Wings in exchange for a conditional 4th-round pick in 2026.

No major moves are expected from the 30-22-9 Senators, currently sitting in sixth place in the Atlantic Division. The team still has competitive ambitions, but it’s been a disappointing season for fans who expected the team to take another step forward after making the playoffs last year for the first time since 2017.
