The Toronto Maple Leafs landed defenceman Darren Raddysh from the Tampa Bay Lightning in a sign-and-trade deal on Friday, according to multiple media reports.

The 30-year-old, of Toronto, had career high 20 goals and 70 points last season with the Lightning, who acquired a fifth-round draft pick in the deal.

Raddysh reportedly signed an eight-year deal worth more than $8 million US per season.
